Simple + Tasty Starch-Free Snack Ideas

In her first cookbook, Pure and Simple Paleo, Andrea Wyckoff published a list of Simple + Tasty Starch-Free Snack Ideas. When I was still in the early stages of strict elimination I used to pour over those ideas, dreaming of the day when my diet would be varied enough to enjoy some of her suggestions. That day has come, and I thought I’d share a similar list with you. I hope it helps you see that a starch-free diet can be varied, delicious, and totally doable for anyone!
You can divide a majority of the starch-free feasters into two groups: those who like to cook and those who do not like to cook. I love to cook, but not everyone likes to spend time in the kitchen, and that is totally cool too!
I know quite a few AS warriors who like to simply grab a handful of nuts and dried fruits for a quick snack. Then there are folks like myself who enjoy baking and prefer to have something like my starch-free chocolate chip cookie, or a slice of my fruit and nut energy loaf when its snack time.
Below are some of my favorite Simple + Tasty Starch-Free Snack ideas. You will see I list a variety of “simple snacks” and then give you “tasty snack” ideas to ramp them up a bit.
