Roasted Honey Dijon Pecans
I love how easy it is to make a batch of these roasted honey dijon pecans. Even more so, I love how delicious (and addicting!) they are! The hint of honey and dijon mustard is a fun twist on roasted pecans. I like to add a bowl of these on lunch smorgasbords for my family and also try to have some available for quick on-the-go snacks.
Ingredients
pecans, raw | 5 cups | |
honey | 3 tbsp | |
dijon mustard | 3 tbsp | |
avocado oil* (see recipe notes) | 2 tbsp | |
sea salt | ½ tsp |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix honey, avocado oil, and dijon mustard together in a large bowl.
- Add pecans and mix until thoroughly coated.
- Spread pecans on a prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in preheated oven for 22-25 minutes. Ovens may vary in bake times, but remove these from the oven when they are starting to brown just slightly.
- Let pecans cool before enjoying them.
- Store pecans in an airtight container (my personal preference is to store these in the fridge) and try to eat them within a month (if you can make them last that long).
Recipe Notes:
- Olive oil or coconut oil can be used instead of avocado oil.
