Homemade Ranch Salad Dressing
I love to serve this Homemade Ranch Salad Dressing as a dip with my chicken strips or as a dressing on iceberg wedge salad. This also makes a great dip to serve with fresh veggies. I really like dill, so I normally go kind of heavy on the dill, and if I have fresh basil I add that too, as fresh basil makes this dressing freaking amazing!
Ingredients
mayo (egg based mayo, or macademia mayo) | ½ cup
onion powder | 1 tsp | |
garlic powder | 1 tsp | |
parsley, fresh, chopped | 1 tbsp
chives, dried | 2 tsp | |
dill, fresh (or ½ tsp dried dill) | 1 tsp
basil, fresh | ¼ cup | |
sea salt | 1 pinch | |
non-dairy milk, optional | 1 tbsp |
Directions:
- Blend ingredients together with an immersion blender or in a (high-speed) blender. A couple of quick pulses on the blender will integrate the herbs nicely, so they appear as green flecks. Be careful to not over-blend the herbs, as you don’t want to end up with a green mayo.
- Optional: Add extra milk to get the desired consistency.
- Serve Homemade Ranch Salad Dressing with fresh veggies, chicken strips, or your salad of choice.
