Simple Tahini Dressing (paleo, GAPS, SCD)

I love having a jar of this simple tahini dressing in my fridge as I feel that it compliments so many dishes. In addition to using it as a salad dressing (Greek salad of romaine lettuce, cucumbers, red onion, and Kalamata olives), I also like to add it to steamed or roasted broccoli. Or, serve it as a dip for raw veggies, lamb-, or beef kababs.

Ingredients

sesame seeds ½ cup
water ½ cup
lemons, juiced 2
garlic 2 cloves
cumin, ground 1 tsp
sea salt pinch

Directions:

  1. Blend ingredients together on high in a blender.

Recipe Notes:

  • If using a high-speed blender like a Vitamix there is no need to pre-grind the sesame seeds. You can grind the sesame seeds in a coffee grinder first if you are not using a high-speed blender, or just use tahini paste instead.
