Simple Tahini Dressing (paleo, GAPS, SCD)
I love having a jar of this simple tahini dressing in my fridge as I feel that it compliments so many dishes. In addition to using it as a salad dressing (Greek salad of romaine lettuce, cucumbers, red onion, and Kalamata olives), I also like to add it to steamed or roasted broccoli. Or, serve it as a dip for raw veggies, lamb-, or beef kababs.
Ingredients
sesame seeds | ½ cup | |
water | ½ cup | |
lemons, juiced | 2 | |
garlic | 2 cloves | |
cumin, ground | 1 tsp | |
sea salt | pinch |
Directions:
- Blend ingredients together on high in a blender.
Recipe Notes:
- If using a high-speed blender like a Vitamix there is no need to pre-grind the sesame seeds. You can grind the sesame seeds in a coffee grinder first if you are not using a high-speed blender, or just use tahini paste instead.
