Cilantro Dressing (dairy-free)
You can use this as a salad dressing, but I also dip my starch-free chicken strips in this sauce and drizzle it on my baked salmon and fish tacos. It’s a versatile, refreshing, creamy dressing that’s kid-approved!
Ingredients
mayonnaise (*see recipe notes) | 1 cup
milk (*see recipe notes) | ¼ cup
garlic, crushed | 1 tbsp | |
lime, squeezed | 1 | |
cilantro, chopped | 1 cup
salt | ½ tsp | |
cumin powder | ¼ tsp |
Directions:
- Put all ingredients together in a blender or food processor and blend until you reach the desired consistency.
- Store in refrigerator for up to a week.
Recipe Notes:
- You can use any kind of milk for this. I have always used non-dairy, like almond or coconut milk.
- I love using Chosen brand salad dressing. I buy it at Costco, along with all these other starch-free items on my Costco shopping list.
