Chicken Strips
These Chicken Strips are a staple in our house. They are so easy to prepare, and I often make extra so I can have the leftovers with a salad the next day. I like to dip these in my homemade ranch dressing or my honey mustard dressing.
Ingredients
chicken breast | 1 lb | |
egg, large | 1 | |
almond flour | 1 cup | |
garlic powder | 1 tsp | |
sea salt | pinch | |
dried herbs (chives, parsley, and/or dill), minced, optional | 1 tsp |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F
- Slice chicken breast into strips.
- Whisk egg in a bowl.
- Mix almond flour, sea salt, and optional dried herbs and spread out on a plate.
- Dredge the chicken in the egg wash, then dust it with the almond flour breading.
- Spread out chicken on a cooking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Broil an extra minute or two at the end if needed.
- Serve Chicken Strips with a side of grilled veggies, or a side salad, and my ranch dressing for dipping.
