Watermelon Popsicles
This recipe is a great way to extend the life of your watermelon for a few weeks in the freezer. I love the texture of these popsicles, they remind me so much of a store-bought fruit popsicle, but take so little effort to make!
Ingredients
watermelon | 10 slices | |
popsicle sticks | 10 |
Directions:
- This recipe will use about ½ of a medium-sized watermelon.
- Slice the watermelon so you have 10 slices, 3/4 of an inch thick, as shown in the photo above.
- Use the tip of a sharp knife to pierce each slice of watermelon with a small slit about ½ inch long.
- Slide a popsicle stick into each slit in each slice of watermelon.
- Place watermelon slices on a baking sheet or cutting board lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze for 5 hours, or until firm.
- Enjoy!
