Brunch Fruit Salad
If ever you struggle to think of what to bring to a potluck or brunch – this fruit salad never fails to be enjoyed by all! Sometimes I overcomplicate things – this recipe (which can barely be called a recipe) proves that often, simple is best! Not only is this delicious and refreshing, but it is also visually appealing!
Ingredients
cantaloupe or honeydew melon | ½ | |
pineapple | ½ | |
kiwis | 2 | |
strawberries | 1 pint | |
mint leaves, fresh | 1 handful |
Optional Ingredients
edible flowers: pansies, nastursiums |
Directions:
- Rinse fruit.
- Cut fruit into bite-sized pieces. You can also use mini cookie cutters to make fun shapes.
- Toss fruit together in a bowl. You can add in a mixture of citrus juice and honey, but I prefer it plain, as the fresh fruit packs such wonderful flavors.
- Garnish with edible flowers and fresh mint leaves.
